Spokesperson Positioning in Fintech market
Challenge
Position Raymundo Guerrero as a specialist and a leading figure in the Mexican fintech industry by heading the local office of Pomelo (the Argentine fintech). The strategy needed to capture the attention of Tier 1 media specialized in fintech and finance, business, and economics.
Solution
We aimed to reach various media outlets within the sector, positioning Raymundo as an expert in the Mexican fintech landscape: data, trends, and market analysis. How did we do it? Through a strategic plan involving networking, opinion columns, interviews, and exclusive content, to achieve comprehensive media positioning.
Results
In two years of work, we achieved over 150 articles featuring Ray as a spokesperson, 90% of which were in Tier 1 media, accumulating earned media of over USD 300K. Raymundo has been featured in almost all Tier 1 media outlets in Mexico, including Expansión, El Universal, Forbes, Reforma, Bloomberg Línea, Milenio, El Economista, and Business Insider, among others. He was recognized by Forbes as one of the 30 business promises in 2024, by Expansión in the 30 promises of 2024, and secured a leadership position within the Fintech Association of Mexico. Soon, he will be the specialized fintech voice of the podcast Dinero en Control.
