Monster Suite

Challenge

Hotels.com had high expectations in spreading one of its big bets for the Mexican market: the Monster Suite, a hotel room inspired by Guillermo del Toro's monsters that was going to be installed in pop-up format, at the foot of the exhibition "At Home with My Monsters" by the Mexican director in a museum in Guadalajara.

 

Solution

We worked on a PR strategy that combined a Media and Influencers Trip to Guadalajara, a tour to the Monster Suite with local and national media and influencers, 1-1 interview management and massive release of information and audiovisual content.

 

Results

In a span of just 2 weeks between the official communication of the Monster Suite and the opening dates of reservations, more than 100 publications were obtained, 100% mentioned the brand achieving an Earned Media of + USD 320K. 75% of the repercussions were published in national T1 print media, online, TV and radio of Entertainment, Lifestyle and Tourism, such as Canal 11, El Universal, Grupo Reforma, Excélsior, Milenio, Publimetro, El Sol de México, Forbes, Expansión, Dónde Ir, National Geographic en Español, Travel & Leisure, among others.
