Rainbow Suite - Hotels.com

Challenge

Generate awareness in Mexico of the unique experiences that Hotels.com offers, in this case anticipating the Rainbow Suite by Lisa Frank in L.A. that was going to be open for booking.

Solution

In addition to a media outreach strategy, we contacted 2 celebrities who love Lisa Frank (creator of the Suite) and offered them a full experience of the suite in L.A. in order to get organic coverage of the news in their social media channels. Christian Chávez and Zoraida Gómez, former members of the iconic soap opera Rebelde, accepted the invitation.  We also sent a commemorative Rainbow Suite gown to a few more local influencers to increase the organic amplification of the news on Social media.

Results

In less than 5 minutes the Rainbow Suite was completely booked. Not a single night was left. In one week, we achieved + 3M impressions on social media through the Instagram posts and stories of 5 influencers and a commercial equivalent of +40K USD. In addition, Christian Chávez was so delighted with the experience that he continued remembering his moments in the Rainbow Suite throughout the year.
